Parents and carers should note that ‘Fun Club’ will re-commence from 07.09.20 and will operate according to the Government guidance for ‘Education and Childcare during Coronavirus’: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/actions-for-schools-during-the-coronavirus-outbreak/guidance-for-full-opening-schools#wraparound-provision-and-extra-curricular-activity
After School ‘Fun Club’ provides a fun, safe and stimulating environment for your child at the end of the regular school day. The club runs from 3:30pm to 6:00pm weekdays during term time and is based in the Library with additional use of Sycamore classroom, the main hall and outside areas.
Children are encouraged to take an active role in a wide variety of activities which include cookery, craft, needlework, board games, reading, construction and much more. Through group and individual activities we help the children build independence and resourcefulness.
A biscuit and drink are offered to the children at the start of the session, followed by a snack and drink in a more formal setting later in the session (please note, this is not a substitute for your child’s regular evening meal).
Our Club is staffed by a manager and play workers, all familiar faces to the children. The aim is to provide a smooth transition between school and club. All or staff have significant experience of working with children and comply with EYFS requirements for registered childcare.
