The village of Chirton, are organising an event to raise money for our church, St John Baptist. We have no village hall, and therefore no regular place for the community to meet, so we use our church. However, the church requires a lot of up keep and so we are constantly looking for innovative ways to raise money.
We were hosting a Burns Night party in the church on Friday 26th January. There will be a silent auction with donations from M&S, Sainsburys, Waitrose, Morrison’s, Planks, as well as amazing prizes such as fitness session, 1-2-1 yoga, sewing lesson, wine, photo shoot, books, and many more. Your £15 ticket will include a glass of good wine, haggis, tatties & neeps, and pudding. We have a piper coming, reeling, and a disco.
It will be a really fun night, and we hope you can join us!
