When should I apply for a place?
If your child is four years old before September 2025, you must apply for a primary school place.
You can apply online at wiltshire.gov.uk from 1st September 2024 or complete an application form available at all Wiltshire Council offices.
The deadline for applications is 12 midnight, 15th January 2025.
What information do I need to return to school?
On confirmation of your school place, we will give give you a welcome pack. Please complete the forms in our welcome pack and return them to Miss Messenger, our Admin Officer: admin@woodborough.wilts.sch.uk at your earliest convenience.
What parent portal does the school use?
We use a parent portal app called Weduc. During your child's first week of school, we will send you further information on how to register. We use Weduc for all school communication, school meals and permissions.

What is Tapestry?
Tapestry is an online learning journal which we use to celebrate your child's learning and development with you during their reception year at school. We will invite you to join the platform within the first week of school.
We’d be grateful if you would complete the ‘All About Me’ forms on Tapestry and then follow the instructions to return them to Mrs Parry, so she can begin to get to know your child.
How do I order and purchase school uniform?
Order and purchase School Uniform from OHM Clothing Ltd, Devizes: https://www.ohmclothing.co.uk/school-uniform/ Please make sure that all items of clothing, footwear (no laces please!) and belongings are clearly labelled with your child’s name.
How do I apply for school transport?
Visit the Wiltshire Council School Transport website page to check eligibility

How to apply for free school meals?
‘Universal Infant Free School Meals’ (UIFSM) provides funding for all government funded schools to offer free school meals to pupils in Reception, Year 1, and Year 2.
However, your child may also be eligible for ‘Free School Meals’ (FSM) and additional Pupil Premium funding.

Weduc accounts will go live at the beginning of September to enable you to order lunches.
How do I apply for free school milk?
We will register all children in Oak Class to receive free school milk as soon as they commence school, until they reach the age of 5.
When your child turns 5 years old you will need to register for the scheme and pay a
subsidised price of approximately £14 per term, if you wish them to keep having school milk. Find more information here: School-Milk-Registration-Form
How do I purchase a parking permit?
All parents should park at the Woodborough Social Club in Smithy Lane when bringing or collecting their children from school. There is a safe field path leading from the car park to the school with a staffed crossing point on the main road. A yearly charge of £30 is paid for a parking permit and covers up to 3 vehicles. We ask parents not to park on the approach roads to the school as these become congested, dangerous for pedestrians and cause inconvenience to the residents of nearby houses.

How do I notify school if my child needs to take medication?
Staff cannot adminster any medication unless we have received written parental consent.
If your child has an ongoing medical condition, e.g. asthma or allergies, and requires medication in school, please complete and return the Ongoing Medication Form which can be collected from the school office.
How do I book a place for my child at Breakfast Club or Afterschool Club?
Breakfast Club is run separately to the school bu Sports Education Instructors and you need to book directly with them. Please email SEI at schools@sportseducationinstructors.co.uk or call on 07896417098 if you have any queries or would like to book a place.
After School ‘Fun Club’ provides a fun, safe and stimulating environment for your child at the end of the regular school day. The club runs from 3:30pm to 6:00pm weekdays during term time and is based in the main hall and outside areas. Fun Club is booked via our parent portal, Weduc.
