Intent
The overarching intent for D.T. is to:
- Give children an understanding of the process and skills necessary for designing, making and evaluating products for a specific purpose including food technology.
- Build resilience when adapting and improving designs and prototypes by learning through the experiences of professionals.
- Give children the tools to create designs on a digital platform to enable them to succeed in a technological world.
