Being part of Woodborough School makes you a crucial part of the Woodborough Magic! We believe that every child should be inspired to achieve their full potential through a curriculum which is knowledge rich and will give them the skills and experiences to be ‘future ready’. We strive for all of our pupils to have experienced these 11 things by the time they reach 11 years of age.
1. To have sung in a choir of many voices and had the opportunity to learn to play an instrument.
2. To have taken part in sports and dance festivals.
3. To have visited an art gallery / the theatre / listened to an orchestra.
4. To have read all of the high quality and diverse core texts from our reading spine in each year group.
5. To have taken part in outdoor and adventurous learning and to have stayed away overnight.
6. To have visited places of worship significant to the five main religions.
7. To have engaged with community on a local, national and international scale.
8. To have engaged with enterprise.
9. To have engaged significantly with outdoor learning through all areas of the curriculum.
10. To have experienced travelling on different modes of transport.
11. To know about different career options and pathways beyond education.
